You must be at least 13 years old to use Helio Tan. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Helio Tan is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. UV exposure carries inherent health risks including sunburn, skin damage, and increased risk of skin cancer. Recommendations from Helio Tan are general guidelines only and do not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a dermatologist or qualified healthcare provider before beginning a sun exposure regimen, especially if you have a skin condition or family history of skin cancer. Use sunscreen as directed by health authorities.
Helio Tan offers a free tier with basic features. No payment information is required to access the free tier.
Advanced features are available through a Helio Tan Pro subscription, offered on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
We may offer a free trial period for Helio Tan Pro. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and payment will be charged.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and billed via your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
When using Helio Tan you agree not to:
All content, design, code, trademarks, and other intellectual property in Helio Tan belong to Kacper Turek or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the app as described herein.
You retain ownership of any content you create in the app (such as photo journal entries), but you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to provide the service to you.
Helio Tan uses third-party services to deliver its features, including:
Your use of Helio Tan is subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third parties. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
Helio Tan is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kacper Turek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Helio Tan.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Helio Tan shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kacper Turek from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the app.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Helio Tan at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via the app or email. Continued use of Helio Tan after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
